Postdoctoral Researchers

The Behringer Lab at Vanderbilt University is looking to recruit a postdoctoral researcher interested in contributing to the lab's work in experimental evolution and microbiology, funded by our NIH-MIRA or NSF-CAREER award.

The two projects that we are hoping to recruit a postdoctoral research for are:

1) Investigating the evolutionary processes underlying the transition to aerotolerance in microbes.

or

2) Investigating the dynamic interplay between DNA methylation and evolution in microbes.

These projects are best suited for researchers with a background in evolutionary genomics or molecular microbiology, and who are interested in applying experimental and bioinformatic approaches during their postdoctoral training.

Interested candidates should send the following materials to Megan Behringer: megan.g.behringer(at)vanderbilt(dot)edu:

1) CV

2) A brief explanation of your research interests and why you are interested in joining the lab.

[Please, No more than 1 page.]

Ph.D. Students

Students interested in joining the lab for graduate study should contact Dr. Behringer directly.
